Blue Moon’s Cappuccinio Oatmeal Stout is just as good as it sounds.  Brewed with oats, cocoa, and decaffeinated coffee, this brew is the perfect treat for the cold winter months.  The fresh coffee aroma and rich roasted taste will leave you wanting more of this creative stout beer.

About the Brewer

It all began in 1995 when head brew master Keith Villa put a new-world twist on the old-world art of brewing and created a refreshingly unique take on the classic Belgian Wit beer.  While studying brewing in Brussels, Keith grew to love and take inspiration from the classic Belgian Wit recipe and later crafted a beer unlike any other.  The result was the classic Blue Moon Belgian Wit beer we know and love today, and they have several year-round and limited-release beers as well.

About the Beer

The Cappuccino Oatmeal Stout is a very pleasant beer through and through. It’s not a Belgian White at its base and that’s good because it doesn’t have to be.  It pours real dark and silky with a nice one-inch head, almost like a Guinness, which says a lot… Blue Moon got this brew right.  It has an amazing aroma of fresh brewed coffee and it is not acidic at all given how much of the coffee you can taste. The taste is a fresh-roasted-coffee flavor with a light cocoa and malt sweetness. Bitterness is mild and balanced. Overall, this is a fantastic seasonal beer.
